I have spent the last 3 days working on a Duke of Edinburgh Assessment in the Callander area. The weather on Tuesday was awefull with rain for almost 24 hours solid, however this did not put the groups off and they were still in good spirits when they got into camp at 7pm at the end fo Day 1. Thankfully Wednesday was much nicer and the groups dried out during the day with a good drying breeze also useful for keeping the midges away. The final day (Thursday) was also nice although a little midge in the morning. Both groups did really well and passed their assessment. On to the gold award next?
